Buck Breaking Now and Then

Many of us have taken the adage leave the past in the past to mean that we should have learned from it so we do not repeat it.  When Paul said forgetting those things which are behind me, it would be unrealistic for us to think that means forget history, which is much of what scripture is, as well as knowing and never (never means never) forgetting the Father’s teachings and commandments.  Which is a common thread throughout the New and Old Covenant.  Proverbs 3:1, Psalm 119:61.

So though more recent history has been taken away from us there is nothing new under the sun.  It continues to be hidden and taken away so is it not imperative that we should seek for ourselves truth of our history to not repeat the mistakes of the past?

In the more recent history of the antebellum south, we do know and agree our people were stripped of name, heritage, knowledge of who we are, beaten, eaten, wounded and sexual abused.  Much of which was done in front of others to make an example to stay in line.   I alluded to the point of scripture that is so important to remember in Ecclesiastes 1:9 which reads, What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun.  When we look at this verse if it means NOTHING then that includes everything, we believe to be new. 

Todays current events has many shook with the things our eyes are witnessing and what our ears are hearing.  Some of it factual and much of it propaganda. We either throw it to the side as nonsense or take a breath and humbly and meekly ask, Father if there is ANY truth to this, please reveal the truth and expose the lies.  Lead us to what will be our benefit to know.  Why? Because we lean not to our own understanding and in ALL our ways acknowledge Him (our Aba/Father) and He will direct our paths. Prov 3:5-6. This should be our rule to stay in humility and be as a child who checks in with our Father.   It is crucial if we are to not to remain wise in our own eyes. 

When I hear the saga of Hollywood and what has been happening for quite some time, and is finally coming to the forefront, if nothing is new under the sun, why is it surprising?  It was hidden from many in plain sight and even when hints were mentioned we could not allow our mind to think of such accusations being the norm.  Our ancestral history of the so called African American Slave,  involved Buck breaking as way of punishment as opposed to a right of passage.  At one point, I understood it to mean that you beat the slave into compliance breaking His spirit.  But it means a great deal more. Raping was done to our women. But Buck breaking was done to our men. It was the act of sexual violence where a “ A slave owner forcing the enslaved to lower his pants and bend over a tree stump to ensure his buttocks were propped in the air.  The enslaved man would be flogged severely.  This would weaken him so that he would not be able to resist the rape that followed.  The white slaveowner would then proceed to rape the slave several times.” (Buck Breaking: The Use of Sexual Violence Against Enslaved Men as Punishment of Wrongdoing, by Just Annet). 

As horrific as that is and as much as we would like to put that in the distant past, it is not.  It has taken a different form.  These “freak off” parties that were taking place were not the start of Buck Breaking but a part of a ritualistic occultic practice to remain in a top position, in whatever art form or genre you aspired to pursue. 

It was not an anomaly experienced by those considered whistle blowers, who have come forward and admitted to the abuse, but it reaches the top players in sports, politics, business, religion, acting, singing, journalism, and the unfortunate curious thrill seeking social influencer who ended up in the wrong place at the wrong time.  It is very connected to the world of sex trafficking due to the perverse nature in which these sadistic rituals of old are yoked.

So why does this matter? What is the purpose in bringing these matters up at this time?   We are not a part of such things so why do we need to hear of such debauchery?  The word shakah means to forget, to neglect.  “The act of remembering  was often tied to obedience and faithfulness, while forgetting was associated with disobedience and unfaithfulness.  Forgetting represented a breach in covenant relationship not just a lapse in memory.” (H7904 Bible Hub)

Buck breaking is not just a sexual act it’s a mental one.  The humiliation to be done in front of others continues.  When you see a black man that you respect as strong, reputable and exemplary, being made to wear a dress, apologize for a something otherwise simplistic but veered against unspoken rules, or even performed in an forbidden way, shaming is a part of the process.  Many have become so accustomed to going with whatever the world says is correct, or the proper way the masses say is correct or even the politically correct way to act that we shakah or forget and down play what scripture says often when our ambivalence reads as a nod of approval which is the opposite of the how we are to guard truth.

When we have unsavory personalities that rule over us and do things to upset us, anything they say can be deemed as disagreeable even if it aligns with the Word.  But when you have one who is supposed to be appointed to an office of ‘superior divinity’ aligning themselves completely against the word and we somehow do not call it out because our senses have been numbed to the worldly influence of this age.    What do I mean?  The current U.S. president puts a foul taste in the mouths of many in just hearing his name.  He signed an executive order in his first days or office saying the U.S. government will only recognize a person’s sex assigned at birth and limit the definition of a male and female.  This has many up in arms.  An article I read says “Medical and legal experts say the executive order rejects the reality of sexual and gender diversity…”(ABC News, Kiara Alfonseca).  African nations that have concluded the same stance were sanctioned by the U.S. for having such policies.  They did not care about the countries more than their belief. No one was going to change their faith and their way of keeping their culture and country.  This country is one nation supposedly under God.  Which one? Genesis 5:2 Male and female He created them.  He is the ancient of days and He changes not.   So we can get political and feel a way, but be careful what you stand for and who you may stand against. 

Meanwhile Pope Francis says:

“Homosexuality is not a crime.”  Under whose law does He speak for it to be a crime? You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. Lev. 18:22.  A man who lies with another man as with a woman is abominable Lev 20:13.  I ask you is the law obsolete?  How so if the Father does not change?

 “It is difficult to imagine hell because it is not a dogma of faith”.  Technically speaking hell, or hades is a translation of the Greek Gehenna, but Hebrew Hinnom H2011, which at that time was a valley in Jerusalem and a word that we never hear.  Sheol (H7585)  in scripture is used as a place for the dead, pit

or grave and is translated as hell.  For example recall when the children of Korah and all their household were swallowed up by the ground when the ground split and earth opened its mouth.  Numbers 16:30, pit is the same as sheol.   Psalm 6:5 Sheol is translated as grave as Isaiah 38:18.   However, Hinnom which means valley of wailing (and there will be wailing and gnashing of teeth), transliterated as hell, was spoken about several times as eternal torment and punishment as opposed to eternal glory and life.  To say it is not incontrovertibly true contradicts scripture.

“All religions are pathways to reach God?” I will agree if we answer the question, which AL or God is he speaking of?   I am the way the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father except through me.  Our Father is the same Father of Abraham, Issac and Jacob.  But ALL other pathways in a one world religion, universal religion, all paths accepted religion will lead all those who follow false mighty ones worshipped by the heathen to eternal torment.  Years ago I gain understanding the latin definition of Vati can which would lend itself to a possible understanding of the direction of those who follow this line of thinking.  Vatis' = 'prophetic' or 'diviner' 'Can' = 'serpent/snake' These two words combined make: 'the prophetic- or made devining serpent'. We are understandably disappointed with the leadership of the U.S. but many also neglect to have as much to say about these statements made by leader of the Catholic church.  And I ask where all the young men and parents are now who stood up against the molestation of altar boys? There were 216,00 victims of sexual abuse carried out by the French catholic church’s clergy alone between 1950 and 2020.  4,444 alleged incidents in Australia, 1670 clergymen had committed sexual attack against 3,677 minors mostly boys under 13 between 1946 and 2014.  US, Ireland, Germany all show large sex scale crimes in many dioceses.   11,000 complaints made in the U.S. with 100’s of millions of dollars in out or courts settlements.  Pedophilia is a rampant issue as several dioceses have since opened their archives revealing hundreds of priests had been suspected of abusing minors.  (source Aljazeera.com source AFP. Though this is not buck breaking, it does open our eyes to a larger, sinister connection to sex scandals and the supposedly untouchable billion dollar sex trafficking rings that many dare not entertain. Why is it so untouchable?  With all the high tech Space Based Space Surveillance (SPSS) that operates 24/7 and can identify someone in a mountain cave in the middle east can not crack down on who is at the top of sex trafficking?  Who is being protected.  I do not accuse anyone unjustly.  I do, however, suggest we look at the sinister connections and go a bit deeper in understanding. Do not shun truth, thinking it is too impossible when what has been done before, hiding in history written by the victor, is being done again.

What empire was the victor in 70 A.D? What city currently is a sovereign nation?  Who issued a papal bull Dum Diversas on June 18, 1452 allowing Portugal to capture and enslave people in Africa which facilitated the Portuguese slave trade and justified European Colonization?  It’s worth remembering. 

I end with Proverbs 17:22 that says a cheerful heart makes good medicine.  But a crushed (wounded) spirit dries up the bones.  No one that is truthful and sane can contest that slavery was used to shatter cultural ties with the mother land the birth place of civilization and psychologically break the mind, the spirit of our people.  The horrendous sadistic buck breaking was done to our people to crush, and even sexually transfer spirits and wound our men to a crippling self-depreciating loss of self.   This broken spirit as the scripture says dries up the bones.  But I ask as Ezekiel was asked, can these dry bones live?
